I have a long and fond relationship with the old Notts Palais. In the pre-smartphone era, it wasn't really the done thing to say, 'Tell you what, let's turn this camera the wrong way round, take a few pictures of ourselves, then I'll pop along to Boots during the week, get the film developed, and post copies to everyone.'.
